A Stainless Steel Black Round Bar refers to a solid cylindrical bar of stainless steel that is supplied in the “black” or hot-rolled condition. Unlike bright bars, which are cold-drawn or ground for a smooth finish, black round bars retain a dark, oxidized scale from the hot rolling process. These bars are commonly used in forging, machining, structural applications, and heavy engineering where surface finish is not critical.
